Basketball Recap: West Stanly Comes Up Short

West Stanly lost against Piedmont back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Stanly Colts fell to the Piedmont Panthers 63-57.

Bryan Little was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-8 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds for Piedmont. What's more, Little also posted a 88% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bennett Church, who posted 12 points along with five assists and five boards.

West Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Piedmont, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-13.

As of now, neither West Stanly nor Piedmont have any future games scheduled.
