Soccer Recap: Long County Gets the Win

Long County kept a clean sheet against Woodville-Tompkins on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines.

Long County's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Woodville-Tompkins, they moved to 6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Long County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Islands on the 4th. Woodville-Tompkins will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McIntosh County Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 12th.
