Basketball Recap: Leonardtown Takes a Loss

Leonardtown has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Point Eagles. The match marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Leonardtown's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 19-3. As for North Point, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Point beat Leonardtown by a score of 34-30 on Tuesday.
