Carver Birmingham had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Center Point Eagles with a sharp 14-7 victory. Surprisingly, this marked the Rams' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Carver Birmingham let Isaiah Simon and Jonathan Scott run wild. Simon went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Scott went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Simon has become a key player for Carver Birmingham: the team is 9-0-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 11-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Joshua Harris, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Carver Birmingham's win bumped their record up to 20-13-1. As for Center Point, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
