Baseball Recap: Waterloo West's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Waterloo West took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Dubuque Senior, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wahawks skirted past the Rams 7-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Wahawks as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Waterloo West's victory bumped their record up to 3-19. As for Dubuque Senior, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11.

Waterloo West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Waterloo East on the 17th. As for Dubuque Senior, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 loss against Beckman on the 17th.
