Basketball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the West Brook Bruins, falling 79-32. The Ganders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-13.

West Brook's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Devin Polidore led the charge by going 5 of 9 en route to 18 points. That's the most points Polidore has posted since back in December of 2024. Jacob Babino was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 4-25. As for West Brook, the victory was the 26th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-1.

Lee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-29 defeat against Beaumont United on the 31st. As for West Brook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-24 win against Sterling on the 31st.
