Basketball Recap: McQueen Comes Up Short

McQueen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 58-29 defeat at the hands of the Buckland Sissauni. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sissauni this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-38 on Thursday.

McQueen's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Buckland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-9.

Coming up, McQueen won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Napaaqtugmiut at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Napaaqtugmiut is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season. Buckland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
