Basketball Game Preview: Village Academy Tigers vs. Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks

Village Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against FAU High on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Village Academy took a blow against FAU High, falling 88-20. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-8.

Meanwhile, Sheridan Hills Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 53-47 to Don Soffer Aventura. The loss continues a trend for the Sharks in their matchups with the Barracuda: they've now lost five in a row.

Village Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Village Academy was taken down by Sheridan Hills Christian 77-36 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Village Academy was down 41-20.
