Baseball Recap: Grandview Comes Up Short

Grandview entered their matchup against Stephenville on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Zebras came up short against the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees, falling 14-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in February.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Stephenville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Grandview has already played their next game, an 8-2 victory against Scurry-Rosser on the 16th. As for Stephenville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Brownwood at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
