The Post Falls Trojans will take on the Lake City Timberwolves at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Post Falls beat Lewiston 51-41.
Brooklynn Brennan was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with five steals. She hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Kinlee Mclean was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Lake City faced Coeur d'Alene in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Lake City came out on top against Coeur d'Alene by a score of 54-45 on Friday. 54 seems to be a good number for Lake City as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Post Falls' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Lake City, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.
Post Falls came up short against Lake City in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 66-59. Can Post Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
