Soccer Recap: Punxsutawney Takes a Loss

Punxsutawney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Keystone Panthers. Punxsutawney were not able to make up for their defeat to Keystone from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Punxsutawney's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Keystone, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Punxsutawney is set to take on their familiar foe Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Keystone will square off against rival Redbank Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
