Basketball Recap: Westwood Skates Past Tradition Prep with Ease

There's no place like home for Westwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Tradition Prep Pirates 47-8. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season.

It was another big night for Jihla Greer, who posted 14 points. Jazmyne Jones was another key player, putting up nine points.

Westwood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Tradition Prep, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westwood will venture away from home to square off against John Carroll Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tradition Prep, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Edward's at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
