Football Recap: Clear Lake Takes a Loss

Clear Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Dickinson Gators 71-14. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-0.

Clear Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Dickinson, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Clear Lake and Dickinson will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Falcons see the field they'll take on Deer Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Dickinson, their break will end when they face Brazoswood at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
