Baseball Recap: Van Buren Takes a Loss

Van Buren lost against Valle Catholic back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Van Buren's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Valle Catholic, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 24-1.

Van Buren has already played their next game (against East Carter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Valle Catholic, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North County at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th. The Warriors are on a 14-game streak of home wins, the Raiders a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
