Mount Everett Regional and McCann Tech are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Eagles will welcome the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. McCann Tech took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Mount Everett Regional, who comes in off a win.

Mount Everett Regional is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Wednesday. They never let Lee get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

Sean Warren made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Warren was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Kreis, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. Brady Carpenter was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, McCann Tech had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Lenox Memorial by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Hornets have suffered against the Millionaires since April 4, 2023.

McCann Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Howland, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
