There's no place like home for Watertown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Monona Grove Silver Eagles 3-0 on Tuesday. The Goslings not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

While Watertown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 26-24, 25-21.

Ella Peirick paced Watertown's offense, picking up 16 kills. Peirick got some help from Breanna Meracle and her 36 assists. Meracle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Mikayla McQueeney and Payton Hanson certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. McQueeney had ten digs and three aces, while Hanson had eight digs.

Watertown's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Monona Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-15 record this season.

Watertown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Baraboo on the 11th. As for Monona Grove, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against DeForest on the 11th.
