Baseball Game Preview: Orangeburg Prep Indians vs. Hilton Head Prep Dolphins

For the second straight game, Orangeburg Prep will face off against Hilton Head Prep. The Indians will host the Dolphins at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Orangeburg Prep 2.6, Hilton Head Prep 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Orangeburg Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Hilton Head Prep.

Tilden Riley was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Orangeburg Prep's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Hilton Head Prep, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 28-3.
