Baseball Game Preview: Oak Lawn Spartans vs. Lincoln Park Lions

The Oak Lawn Spartans will face off against the Lincoln Park Lions at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Oak Lawn had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Kennedy on Friday. The Spartans put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 12-1 victory. Considering the Spartans have won 13 contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jack Westin looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
