Palatka has no trouble against Keystone Heights

The Palatka Panthers waltzed into Friday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 50-32 win over Keystone Heights. This was payback for Palatka, who suffered a 47-41 loss the last time these two teams met.

Palatka was led to victory by Destiny Williams and Charnelle Cue . Williams scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds, while Cue scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Cue has scored at least 25% of Palatka's points. Another player making a difference was Ramiyah Oxendine, who scored 6 points.

Palatka pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.67 points. As for Keystone Heights, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palatka will square off against University Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Keystone Heights, they will head out on the road to face off against Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clay's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Keystone Heights' offense will have their work cut out for Keystone Heights.
