Softball Recap: Sabine Pass Comes Up Short at Home Against West Orange-Stark

Sabine Pass unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the West Orange-Stark Mustangs on Friday, falling 19-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

West Orange-Stark's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sabine Pass will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Danbury at 5:00 p.m. on March 4th. As for West Orange-Stark, they will square off against Deweyville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
