Football Game Preview: Middletown Islanders vs. Central Falls Warriors + How To Watch

The Middletown Islanders will take on the Central Falls Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Middletown has given up an average of 29.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Middletown is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: West Warwick, who was ranked 12th at the time (Middletown was ranked 25th). The Islanders had to suffer through a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Wizards. The Islanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Central Falls didn't have quite enough to beat Cranston East on Saturday and fell 16-14.

Central Falls' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Middletown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Middletown was able to grind out a solid win over Central Falls in their previous matchup back in September of 2021, winning 18-10. Will the Islanders repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
