Basketball Recap: Twin Loup Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Twin Loup lost against Pleasanton back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Twin Loup Wolves took a 45-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pleasanton Bulldogs. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Twin Loup saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jackson Hall posted eight points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for Hall. Another player making a difference was Carter Hall, who had four points.

Leading Pleasanton to victory were Brennan Lindner and Gage Zwiener. Lindner scored 18 points, while Zwiener put up 12 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lindner has scored at least a third of Pleasanton's points.

Twin Loup's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Pleasanton, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Twin Loup didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-65 defeat against Hyannis on the 16th. As for Pleasanton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-30 loss against Central Valley on the 14th.
