Bayfield is 8-2 against Pagosa Springs since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. While Pagosa Springs had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-19.
Bayfield will have to keep a close watch on Tatiana Monterroso and Charity Domingo, a pair of players who had a big impact on Pagosa Springs' prior game. Monterroso had 12 digs, while Domingo had ten digs.
Pagosa Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Bayfield, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.
Bayfield took their victory against Pagosa Springs in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
