Softball Recap: Bremond Takes a Loss

Bremond entered their contest against Holland on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers came up short against the Hornets, falling 11-2. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bremond saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Lenamom, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bremond's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Holland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bremond will face off against rival Rosebud-Lott at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Holland is set to square off against their familiar foe Chilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Hornets' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Pirates have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
