Football Recap: Tulia Comes Up Short

Tulia played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the West Texas Comanches and fell 65-13. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 68-22 to the Comanches when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Although Tulia took the loss, they still got scores from Jacob Trevino and Logan Becerra.

Tulia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Texas, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tulia will welcome Lamesa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will be up against the Tornadoes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Texas, they will look to defend their home field on the 26th against River Road at 7:00 p.m.
