Baseball Recap: Lindsay Comes Up Short

Lindsay lost against Orange Cove back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell 5-1 to the Titans. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lindsay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzac Rocha, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Lindsay and nudges their season record down to 3-4-1. As for Orange Cove, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Lindsay and Orange Cove will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cardinals are set to face off against their familiar foe Strathmore at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Orange Cove will square off against rival Orosi at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
