Basketball Recap: Troy Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Troy won the last time they faced Blue Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Rams by a score of 56-49. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Trojans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Rams are ranked 194th).

Hunter Engemann continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 86% from the field to rack up 19 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaston Jasper, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Troy's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3. As for Blue Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-42 win against Jackson Heights on the 6th. As for Blue Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 70-37 defeat against Hanover on the 6th.
