Rancho Dominguez extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 5-4 in the process. They lost 19-0 to the Carson Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 back in March.

As for Carson, they pushed their record up to 16-1-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games.

For Carson's part, they got a great performance from Isabella Campos as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Campos has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Rylee Gardner, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and one triple. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashannalee Titialii, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run.
