Recap: LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls vs. Palmetto Ridge Bears
On Friday, LaBelle came up short against Palmetto Ridge and fell 52-45. LaBelle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Palmetto Ridge can attribute much of their success to Melody Charlton, who scored 17 points along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Villani, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds.
LaBelle's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Palmetto Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
LaBelle has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for Palmetto Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
