Week 6 of the Wisconsin high school football season is here and we are putting the spotlight on the biggest games.
Week 6 games to watchNo. 5 Franklin (5-0) at Kenosha Bradford (5-0) The battle for sole possession of first place in the Southeast Conference. Franklin is coming off a convincing 45-10 win over archrival Oak Creek. Junior running back
Robert Beglinger led the way with 178 yards on 13 carries and scored two touchdowns. Junior quarterback
Keegan Best completed 8 of 9 passes for 167 yards and two scores in the victory. Senior linebacker
Gabe Martens tallied 5.5 tackles, including two for a loss. Kenosha Bradford, which had a Week 2 win over No. 21 Appleton North, shut out Racine Horlick 26-0 last week. Sophomore quarterback
Nolberto Rosales led the Red Devils' offense, completing 18 of 33 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns. Eight of those went to junior wide receiver
Larenzz Pratt, who finished the game with 146 yards and a score. Kenosha Bradford's defense was headlined by sophomore
Ysirael Washington (DL), who tallied 8.5 tackles (8 solo), including two sacks. Last season, Franklin defeated Kensoha Bradford 38-7.
Two of the last three unbeaten FVA squads meet. Neenah topped Oshkosh West 28-24 last week behind the strong play of junior quarterback
Ashton Vanbeek, who scored four rushing touchdowns. He had 22 carries for 166 yards and went 7 of 12 passing for 97 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, senior linebacker
Jonah Rittner led the way with 11 tackles (7 solo) with two for a loss, including a sack. Neenah's lone loss this season was against No. 1 Arrowhead (16-13). In Appleton North's 26-14 win over Hortonville last week, sophomore
Anthony Reischl and senior Grant Hardy both had a rushing touchdown for the Lightning. The defense was led by seniors
Ben Wenzel and
Trey Fox. Wenzel, a Wisconsin commit, finished with a team-high 12 tackles (10 solo), with two for a loss, including a sack, while Fox tallied 9.5 tackles (7 solo) with 3.5 sacks. In their meeting last season, Neenah posted a 25-14 win over Appleton North.
No. 11 Marquette University (Milwaukee) (3-2) at No. 13 Hamilton (Sussex) (4-1)Friday, 7 p.m. - Tickets via GoFan
The top 15 matchup features a Marquette squad looking to remain in sole possession of first place in the Greater Metro Conference. The Hilltoppers edged Oconomowoc 21-20 last week in a non-league contest. Senior running back
Tommy Novotny compiled 137 yards on 17 carries and a score. Marquette's other two touchdowns were passes from junior quarterback

Both teams are coming off blowout wins in Week 5. Lake Mills defeated Turner 31-7 with junior quarterback

Alex Breunig went 9 of 11 with 152 yards and three touchdowns. Two of Breunig's three touchdown passes were to senior tight end

No. 12 Oconomowoc (3-2) at No. 1 Arrowhead (Hartland) (4-1) Friday, 7 p.m.
Arrowhead remains No. 1 in the MaxPreps rankings despite last week's 21-17 loss to No. 2 Muskego. Army commit
Brendan Foley, who stars on defense, scored both of the Warhawks' touchdowns out of the wildcat formation. Senior running back
Jacob Siner finished with 202 yards on 29 carries for Arrowhead. Oconomowoc dropped a 21-20 contest against Marquette last week. Senior running back
Alex Seraphine was a workhorse for the Racoons, carrying the ball 47 times for 268 yards and two touchdowns. When the Classic Eight squads met last season, Oconomowoc posted a 28-21 victory over Arrowhead.
No. 18 Catholic Memorial (Waukesha) (4-1) at Wauwatosa West (3-2) Friday, 7 p.m. - Watch live on NFHS Network | Tickets via GoFanA battle for first place in the Parkland Conference. Catholic Memorial has won its last four games, outscoring opponents 160-14 with two shutouts. In Week 5, the Crusaders defeated New Berlin West 37-7 with junior

Neeko Rodgers finished with seven tackles (5 solo) with one for a loss, forced a fumble, and recovered two fumbles for Catholic Memorial. Wauwautosa West is coming off a 21-7 win over crosstown rival Wauwatosa East. Senior quarterback
Kevin Gibbs completed 12 of 17 for 147 yards and two touchdowns. The Trojans' defense was highlighted by senior lineman
Miguel Leyva, who tallied 10.5 tackles (8 solo), including two sacks. In their meeting last season, Catholic Memorial beat Wauwatosa West 28-6.
No. 19 Rice Lake (5-0) at No. 17 New Richmond (4-1) Friday, 7 p.m. - Tickets via GoFan
When the Big Rivers teams met last season, New Richmond topped Rice Lake 23-22 en route to winning the league championship. Rice Lake is tied atop the BRC with Hudson, while New Richmond is one game back with its only loss coming against Hudson. In Rice Lake's Week 5 win over Chippewa Falls (38-22), senior running back

Sun Prairie East (4-1) at Monona Grove (Monona) (4-1)Friday, 7 p.m. The Badger Large Conference matchup features Sun Prairie East, coming off a 37-13 victory over crosstown foe Sun Prairie West, and Monona Grove, which defeated Milton 36-29 last week. Senior running back
Brady Kaufman headlined Sun Prairie East, carrying the ball 30 times for 240 yards and three touchdowns. Senior
Van Vogler, a two-way standout, caught two passes for 76 yards and a touchdown and had four solo tackles on defense. In Monona Grove's Week 5 win, sophomore quarterback
Jaxon Zukowski went 15 of 20 for 238 yards and a touchdown. Five of his completions went to senior tight end
Zach Dresen, who ended the game with 142 yards and a score. Last season, Sun Prairie East topped Monona Grove 34-31.
Grantsburg (5-0) at Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek) (5-0)Friday, 7 p.m. The winner of the Lakeland Conference showdown takes over sole possession of first place in the league standings. Grantsburg, the Division 6 state runner-up last season, has two consecutive shutouts, the most recent was against Cameron (64-0). Junior running back
Dexter Schultzz led the Pirates with 108 yards rushing and scored one of their six rushing touchdowns. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser is coming off a 24-12 victory over Webster, with senior quarterback
Aiden Becker throwing for 102 yards and three touchdowns and adding 84 yards on the ground. All three of Becker's touchdown passes went to senior wide receiver
Ethan Brown, who finished the game with 83 yards. Last season, Grantsburg cruised to a 42-7 win over Chetek-Weyerhaeuser.
Cochrane-Fountain City (Fountain City) (5-0) at Pepin/Alma (Pepin) (5-0)Friday, 7 p.m.
A couple of high-scoring small schools meet in the Dairyland Conference matchup. They are two of the last three unbeaten teams in league play. Cochrane-Fountain City has not allowed any points this season and averages 40.6 points per game, while Pepin/Alma has three shutouts and averages 44.2 points per game. In Cochrane-Fountain City's 40-0 win over Blair-Taylor last week, junior running back
Aidan Lisowski totaled 173 yards on 10 carries and scored two touchdowns. Pepin/Alma shut out Melrose-Mindoro in Week 5 behind a strong performance from senior running back
Justin Bergmann, who finished with 274 yards and five touchdowns on 21 carries. In last year's meeting, Cochrane-Fountain City earned a 21-12 victory against Pepin/Alma.
