Baseball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Loss

Millbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-1 to the Skyline Hawks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-1 loss on Wednesday.

Millbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Skyline, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Millbrook will square off against James Wood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skyline will be paying especially close attention to the Pioneers' contest: after the Pioneers face off against the Colonels, they'll take on Skyline again at 4:00 p.m.
