Lima Senior waltzed into their contest on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They enjoyed a cozy 72-57 win over the Rogers Rams. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Rams are ranked 129th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lima Senior pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lima Senior will face off against Shawnee at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rogers, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mansfield Senior at 5:00 p.m. on February 15th. Rogers knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Mansfield Senior likes a good challenge.
