 Wednesday just wasn't the day for Amador Valley's offense. They fell  5-0 to the San Ramon Valley Wolves on Wednesday. Amador Valley has not had much luck with San Ramon Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
  Brennan Baptist was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On San Ramon Valley's side,  the result came thanks to  Charles Reiland's shutout, as he gave up just two  hits and racked up seven Ks.
 At the plate, San Ramon Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Max Ellis, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Amador Valley now  has a losing record at 10-11. As for San Ramon Valley, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 14 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amador Valley will  square off against College Park at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for San Ramon Valley, they will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Liberty at 4:00  p.m.
