Soccer Recap: Weiser Comes Up Short

After flying high against Payette on Thursday, Weiser came back down to earth. The Wolverines fell just short of the Baker Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Weiser haven't had much luck with Baker recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Weiser's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Baker, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Weiser and Baker will both be playing Fruitland the next time they take the pitch. The Wolverines will host the Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 7:00 p.m. on October 2.
