 Globe was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight  defeat. They fell victim to a  tough 11-0 loss at the hands of the American Leadership Academy - Ironwood Warriors. The shutout was out of character for Globe seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in March.
 Globe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jaeger Franco, who  went 1-for-2 with a  double.
 On American Leadership Academy - Ironwood's side,  Ethan Buckner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits over four innings pitched. Buckner has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances. Buckner was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Evan Buckner, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Liam Wood, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 Globe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for American Leadership Academy - Ironwood,  the  victory  got them back to even at 8-8.
 Globe is on the road again  on Thursday to play Ray at 10:00  a.m. Ray is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.1  runs per game this season. As for American Leadership Academy - Ironwood, they will be playing at home against Valley Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
