Sharpstown is 7-1 against Austin since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Sharpstown Apollos will square off against the Austin Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While Sharpstown's victory against Carnegie Vanguard wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Sharpstown won by a goal and slipped past Carnegie Vanguard 1-0. The Apollos haven't had any issues with the Rhinos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to Waltrip.

Sharpstown's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Sharpstown took their win against Austin in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 7-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sharpstown since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
