For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Capital and Santa Fe meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Demons with a sharp 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Capital's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-8. As for Santa Fe, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Capital beat the Demons by a score of 5-2 later that day.
