Basketball Recap: Bruce Takes a Loss

After flying high against Winter last Friday, Bruce came back down to earth. The Bruce Red Raiders fell 66-55 to the Prairie Farm Panthers on Tuesday. The Red Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 53-51.

Bruce dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Prairie Farm, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Bruce will challenge Lake Holcombe at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Bruce knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Lake Holcombe likes a good challenge. As for Prairie Farm, they will venture away from home to challenge Cornell at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Prairie Farm is facing Cornell at the right time seeing as Cornell is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
