Alamosa won the last time they faced Bayfield and things went their way on Friday too. The Alamosa Mean Moose took their game with ease, bagging a 59-16 win over the Bayfield Wolverines. The Mean Moose have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Aubrey Rothermich, who went 8 of 13 on her way to 16 points in addition to five boards and three blocks. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Morgan Ortega was another key player, putting up nine points.

Alamosa has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points over those games. As for Bayfield, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Alamosa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-25 victory against Montezuma-Cortez on the 8th. As for Bayfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 81-22 defeat against Centauri on the 8th.
