Coronado had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 51-38 win over the Caprock Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-39 back in December of 2024.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Caprock, they dropped their record down to 5-22 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coronado will take on Lubbock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Coronado is facing Lubbock at the right time seeing as Lubbock is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Caprock, they will be playing at home against Plainview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Caprock will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Plainview will have lost six straight heading into Friday's game.
