St. Joseph and St. Rose squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. Joseph had to settle for second. They had to suffer through an 80-39 loss at the hands of the St. Rose Purple Roses. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for St. Rose, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-7.

St. Joseph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Rose, they will face off against Rutgers Prep on Monday. St. Rose has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 220 points over their last three matchups.
