St. James' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past California 1-0. That's two games straight that St. James have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, St. Clair came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Falcons.

St. Clair now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for St. James, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
