Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 70-40 loss at the hands of the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-24 back in January.

T.L. Hanna found their leader in sophomore Harmoni Earl, who posted 16 points. Jamyllah Handy was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-23. As for T.L. Hanna, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.

As of now, neither Hillcrest nor T.L. Hanna have any future games scheduled.
