Soccer Game Preview: The Prairie School vs. Shorewood

The Prairie School will face off against the Shorewood Greyhounds on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The Prairie School is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against New Berlin West as they made off with a 6-2 win. Given The Prairie School's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while New Berlin West are ranked 112th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Shorewood kept a clean sheet against Port Washington on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Pirates. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Shorewood.

The Prairie School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 99 goals over those 15 matches. As for Shorewood, their win bumped their record up to 11-2-2.
