Northview is 7-1 against Brown County since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Northview Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Brown County Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Northview will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Northview was able to grind out a solid victory over Terre Haute South Vigo, taking the game 53-45. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Braves are ranked 159th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Goff, who posted 14 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Perry, who earned nine points and five boards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 84 points the game before, Brown County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were outmatched by Greencastle and fell 67-26. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Brown County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Northview, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Everything went Northview's way against Brown County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Northview made off with a 70-45 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northview since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
