Volleyball Recap: Fellowship Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

Fellowship Baptist Academy lost against Barry County Christian back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Addi McAlvey paced Fellowship Baptist Academy's offense, picking up three kills. McAlvey really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Fellowship Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Barry County Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

Fellowship Baptist Academy is taking a road trip to take on Bridgeport Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barry County Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Heritage Christian Academy on the 18th.
