Hemlock extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Victoria Hauffe. The Hemlock Huskies walked away with a 49-38 victory over the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals on Thursday thanks to Hauffe, who posted 21 points and three steals. The matchup was her third in a row with at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Addison Stockford, who scored six points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in steals (two).

Michigan Lutheran Seminary's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charli Alcorn, who put up 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Alcorn has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last five times she's played. Kennedy Koehler was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

Hemlock pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.7 points. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season.

Hemlock and Michigan Lutheran Seminary should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Hemlock will square off against Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th up 200 places (88 vs. 288). Hemlock is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. Similarly, Michigan Lutheran Seminary (ranked 229th) will meet Chesaning (ranked 548th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
