Volleyball Recap: Nemaha Central Thunder vs. Rossville Bulldogs
Nemaha Central lost against Rossville last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.
While Nemaha Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23.
Ali Henry paced Nemaha Central's offense, picking up five kills. Henry got some help from Kennedy Carlson and her eight assists. Finally, Meg Honeyman kept Nemaha Central's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Nemaha Central dropped their record down to 17-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Rossville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-10.
Nemaha Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Marys on the 7th. Rossville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
