Basketball Recap: Osborne Sets Scoring Season-High Against Natoma

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Osborne). They breezed by the Natoma Tigers to the tune of 67-32 on Friday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-11.

Despite the loss, Natoma had strong showings from Payton Hoisington, who posted ten points and six rebounds, and Colton Prowse, who scored six points. Carsen Shadduck also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Osborne's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-15. As for Natoma, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osborne will venture away from home to square off against Stockton on Monday. Osborne is facing Stockton at the right time seeing as Stockton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Natoma, they will head out to take on Rock Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
