Tyree Stingley commands the offense for Sand Devils win

Recap: Page Sand Devils vs. Alchesay Falcons

The Page Sand Devils had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They managed a 60-55 win over Alchesay. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Page got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyree Stingley out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. Stingley is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Maximus Reid, who scored 16 points along with three steals.

Page has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Alchesay, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Page and Chinle will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Alchesay, they will head out on the road to face off against Monument Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Monument Valley is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
